Hamilton Open and New Zealand Open – 21-25 September 2022

The Hamilton Cosmopolitan Club is set to host two back to back World Billiards events this September. We are pleased to have these events confirmed on the calendar after previously being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Five days of Billiards begins with the Hamilton Open, a level 2 World Ranking Event, from 21st-22nd September. This is then followed by the New Zealand Open, level 3 World Ranking Event, from 23rd-25th September.

Current Champion:

Ben Judge is the current New Zealand Open champion having beaten Wayne Carey in 2019. The last Hamilton Open was held in 2019 with Gary Oliver defeating Darren Taylor in the final.

This club was the venue where Peter Gilchrist made his world record break of 1346 in 2007. The club serves food on-site with a variety of products available to purchase along with cold drinks and sundries.
