Achievement(s):

  • Chris was appointed to the World Billiards Board of Directors in July 2019. Read more on that here. From January 2021 until May 2022, Chris was the Billiards Director of the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (England’s National Governing Body).
  • He has played twice for England at junior level; at Pontins Prestatyn in the 2010 Home Internationals and in Glengormley, Northern Ireland, in the 2014 Kingsman Cup.
  • He first played in the World Championship in 2015, where he reached the last 32 of the 150-up event, and has played in the event each year since.
  • Chris’ best performance in a WBL event to-date is reaching the semi-finals of the Jersey Open in 2022.
  • In 2023, Chris won the annual EABA/JBSA Jersey Open tournament at the First Tower Institute.

Biography/Information:

  • Chris is an Ambassador and volunteer for the West of England Billiards and Snooker Foundation. He is also a committee member of his local Snooker & Billiards Leagues in Plymouth.
  • Chris has been a referee since 2010 and passed his Class 1 exam in 2014. He refereed the World Billiards Championship final (timed format) in 2016, being the youngest person ever to do so. He has also refereed a number of other finals, including the World Women’s Championship, European Open, Jim Williamson Open, English Open, NSC Open and English National (EASB) finals. One of his memorable matches was in the 2014 World Championship where he refereed Pankaj Advani making breaks of 701 and 575 back-to-back. Chris became a referee examiner for Billiards in 2018 and was involved in the launch of the new rulebook in 2019.
