Achievement(s):

  • Anna became the World Women’s Billiards Champion at the RACV Club in Melbourne in October 2019. Anna progressed through the group stages without dropping a match, aggregating a total of 883 points to her opponents’ 279, for an average difference of 151. She then defeated Jennifer Budd in the semi-final and Judy Dangerfield in the final, securing her place in the record books as Australia’s sixth World Champion in Billiards, and the fourth from Victoria.
  • Earlier in 2019 Anna became Australian National Women’s Billiards Champion.
  • Anna won the Victorian Women’s Billiard Championship sixteen times between 2003 and 2019, failing to win only in 2014 in this period. She was runner-up in 2002.

Biography/Information:

  • Away from the game, Anna is a professional music teacher and concert pianist. Whilst she was playing Eight-ball pool at a local pool hall, one of the owners suggested that she get in touch with the Victorian Billiards and Snooker Association. She entered her first tournament in 2001, around 7 months after she took up Snooker.
